Voice Over Internet is VOIP

Out of all the questions I bet you thought you would ask yourself I bet it wasn’t “Wha! ts VOIP” or even “Free VOIP”? Words Like VOIP and Internet Protocol, used to be the language of geeks only, but now they are the new EMO. You may know those odd people that wear black, cloths, hair, eyes, hoods and make up. Well these are the new people, the new era of GEEKS that we are looking at now days.

So the word geek isn’t used that much anymore, but words like voip and other acronyms are used more and more every day. Yes, voip stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol. So much jargon for four simple words, that can create mass confusion in the heads of those who are IT intellectual! ly challenged, and that still goes for most of us on the planet.

How is Free Free?

Now you want to know what free voip is and how it can benefit you. Since you know what voip stands for the rest should be easy to comprehend. Simpler than that you cannot get for the IT intellectually challenged minds. Still what is free voip, how do you get it, and how is free voip free, since nothing is really for free?

If you think you are an IT Intellectually Challenged Mind

In simplicity, VOIP is a small software package that allows you to talk via your Internet line without increasing your normal telephone bill. Free voip is free to use with most adsl packages that are available. So therefore, you are still chatting via your internet which you have already paid for this being the theory of the IP Phone.

It does seem to be a cheaper way of having a conversation if you have adsl at home, but it is definitely not the same as talking via a web cam, which guzzles your bandwidth superfast.

So there is really no free voip, because you have already paid for the services that you have installed. To make free voip calls you may havSo it goes to show, there is no real free voip anyway, you paid for the services that you had installed anyway. If you are trying to make free voip calls you will soon find out that it does not cost much, as you may have to load some airtime to use anyway, but the calls are charged at such a low rate, but your bandwidth does decrease while you are doing your so called free voip call.

The thing is that if you receive calls while you are on your PC, but for the person really calling, nothing is free!
